Stayed in a 17th-century building, so I felt like a time-traveling aristocrat. Conveniently close to Catania Cathedral, so I could repent for my sins after indulging in all the delicious Sicilian treats.
I despised the private parking being "nearby" because clearly, I expect my chauffeur to park right at the doorstep. How dare they make me walk a few steps!

The rooms at Barocco B&B were absolutely charming. The antique furnishings gave them a unique and cozy feel. As a bike rider, I loved how the rooms provided all the necessary amenities, including air conditioning, flat-screen TVs, and tea/coffee making facilities. The minibar with free mineral water was a delightful touch. Plus, the en suite bathroom with a shower was convenient after a long day of cycling.
One thing that I personally didn't enjoy as much was the soundproofing in the double room. It was a bit lacking, and I could occasionally hear noise from outside.

We rented a spacious and well-equipped apartment at Barocco B&B for our family trip. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from Piazza Duomo and close to shops and attractions. The owner, Helena, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and happiness throughout our stay. The apartment was modern, clean, and reasonably priced. We especially appreciated the warm welcome upon arrival and the stocked fridge with fruits and drinks. We loved our time here and will definitely choose Barocco B&B again in the future. Thank you, Elena and your family, for everything!

Breakfast: The freshly baked croissants and cappuccino coffee served at the nearby cafe were a delightful way to start the day, like a warm embrace from an Italian grandmother. Antique Furnishings: The room's antique furnishings added a touch of elegance and charm, making me feel like royalty staying in a historic palace. Views: I was lucky enough to have a room with views of the bustling city center, giving me a front-row seat to the vibrant energy of Catania. It was like having my own private balcony overlooking a lively theater performance. Free Mineral Water: The complimentary minibar with free mineral water was a thoughtful touch, keeping me hydrated and refreshed during my stay. It was like having a personal hydration butler at my service.
Lock Box: I would have preferred a proper safe for storing my valuables instead of a lock box.

I had a wonderful stay at a charming B&B in the heart of Catania. The friendly and helpful staff made me feel right at home as soon as I arrived. The beautifully decorated rooms had a Sicilian touch and were spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh pastries and fruit. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the main attractions. Despite a small issue with the shower and some noise from a nearby restaurant, my overall experience was fantastic. I highly recommend this B&B for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Catania. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The room was fresh and clean, with good aircon. The breakfast was supplied and very good with fresh fruit as well. The location was great, very close to the city central square and many good restaurants nearby.
The parking was a bit tricky and the hosts had to help secure safe nearby parking at the best rate. The breakfast was served 30 minutes late on the first morning, causing us to miss it as we had an early tour booked.
